Zhu Yanfeng, male, Han nationality, was born in Fenghua, Zhejiang Province in March 1961. He joined the CPC in May 1982 and started working in August 1983. He graduated from the Department of Chemical Engineering, Zhejiang University, majoring in chemical automation and instrumentation. He has a university degree. He graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology with a master's degree in engineering and a researcher level senior engineer.

Zhu Yanfeng has successively served as the Deputy Chief of the Research and Development Section of the Measurement Division of the FAW Thermal Power Plant, the Director of the FAW Foreign Economic Affairs Division, the Deputy General Manager of China First Automobile Group Corporation and the General Manager of FAW Car Co., Ltd., the Executive Deputy General Manager of China First Automobile Group Corporation, the General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of China First Automobile Group Corporation, the Member of the Standing Committee and the Executive Deputy Governor of Jilin Provincial Party Committee, and was elected as the Deputy Secretary of Jilin Provincial Party Committee in May 2012, In May 2015, he served as Chairman and Secretary of the Party Committee of Dongfeng Motor Corporation.

After Zhu Yanfeng left office, Yang Qing, director, general manager and deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Dongfeng Group, temporarily presided over the work of Dongfeng Group.
